"It's not what happens to you; It is what you do with what happens to you."

No matter who we are, we will face challenges and adversity. Chris’s achievements transcend what others believe he can achieve given his disability. The Nametags programs push people to challenge the assumptions and limitations that result from the labels that we give to ourselves and others.

Nametags does not focus on disability, but rather the universal experience of challenge and the power of resilience. In the program, Chris sends the message, "It's not what happens to you. It's what you do with what happens to you.”

The final lesson in Nametags lies in our collective responsibility. Chris shares his own experiences to teach poignant lessons about the power of positive community.

Chris has a wonderful ability to bring people together and inspire them to do great things.
